Editing an Evergreen Campaign

Explains how to update your always-on Evergreen campaign from the Recover tab.

To begin, open the Recover tab and click Edit on the Evergreen campaign.

1. Select your offer

  • Select an Existing Offer.

  • Use an offer you've already created.Create a New Offer: Build a brand-new offer for this campaign.

2. Choose how the offer is redeemed

Pick how shoppers will redeem the offer:

  • Bulk Codes: Unique codes that each work one time (requires a CSV batch upload).

  • Static Codes: One generic code that anyone can use repeatedly.

  • No Code Required: Only use this if shoppers don't need a code to activate the offer.

  • Cashback Boost: Stack Minty Cashback on top of your offer to boost post-click conversion (75.7% on average). Required when no code is in use.

3. Build your offer

Add one or more offer lines. Each line is a part of the offer shown to the customer. Available offer types and their variables:

  • Percent Off / Dollar Off: Variables—Up To, Additional, Product Name, Threshold

  • Free Shipping / Flat Rate Shipping: Variables—Product Name, Threshold

  • Free Gift: Variables—Gift Name, Threshold

  • Free Trial: Variables—First, Timeframe (Days/Weeks/Months/Years), Then (price after trial), Product Name

  • Buy X Get Y: Variables—Buy [Item], Get [Item]

  • Subscriptions: Variables—Fixed Term or Timeframe(Days/Weeks/Months/Years), Dollar or Percent Amount, Product Name

When you use multiple offers, you can also customize:

  • Layout: Choose between a Header + sub-headers layout or a single line.

  • Separating Conjunctions: +, &, /, , and, or, with, or plus.

4. Configure your codes

If you chose Bulk Codes:

  1. Upload your codes: Upload a .csv file containing all unique offer codes. Requirements:

    • .csv file format

    • The top row is a header row

    • One unique code per line

    • Each code is between 4 and 24 characters

  2. Create a backup offer code: Enter a backup static code so shoppers still get a working code if you run out of single-use codes.

  3. Mark the code as exclusive to Minty: Enable this if the offer is for Minty only. Exclusive codes tend to perform better.

  4. Set up alerts: Minty emails you when single-use codes run low. Separate multiple addresses with commas.

If you chose Static Code:

  1. Enter your static code: Shoppers enter this at checkout. Use a random alphanumeric code (e.g. SAVE10RZF41A) rather than a generic one (e.g. SAVE10); special characters aren't permitted. If you're worried about code leakage, use Single Use (Bulk) codes instead.

  2. Mark the code as exclusive to Minty: Same as above.

5. Set visibility and timing

  • Sync to Minty: Feature this offer on Minty.com to increase visibility and drive revenue.

  • Display Timing:

    • Always On: No end date.

    • Schedule this offer: Set a start and end date for it to appear on Minty.com.

6. Confirm offer details and disclosures

  • Offer details and exclusions: Add supporting details about your offer.

  • Offer disclosures: Review and confirm the offer's disclosures and restrictions.

7. Name your offer

Give your offer a unique, appealing name. This becomes your Minty offer listing, so make it easy for shoppers to understand.
