How to Customize Your Minty Prevent Experience

As part of your Minty onboarding, you can customize how your Prevent experience looks and feels on your site.

You’ll need to select three options:

Once you’ve made your selections, send your three choices to the Minty team. We’ll use them to configure your Prevent experience and continue the onboarding process.

Your Hook determines how your offer is presented to shoppers. You can choose from four options:

Direct

Displays the offer immediately to the shopper.

Scratch Off

Provides a more interactive experience where shoppers can engage with the offer.

Mystery

Keeps the offer hidden until the shopper opts in.

Chat

Provides a conversational experience.

Next, select where Prevent will appear on desktop. You can choose from four placement options:

Top Right

Displays Prevent in the top right of the desktop screen.

Bottom Right

Displays Prevent in the bottom right of the desktop screen.

Center

Displays Prevent in the center of the desktop screen.

Slide Out

Displays Prevent as a slide out experience.

On mobile devices, the Prevent experience automatically displays as a bottom sheet. No mobile placement selection is required.

The Backdrop controls how much visual emphasis the Prevent offer receives on your site. You can choose from three options:

None

Leaves your site fully visible without an additional background treatment.

Subtle

Adds a light background treatment behind the Prevent experience.

Focused

Places more attention on the Prevent offer.

Once you’ve reviewed the available options, send the Minty team your three selections:
